Fine effort in the good 2006 vintage, this typically stylish Carneros Chardonnay wine made from new Dijon clone vines has nice light golden yellow color, expressive nose of apples and pears with a hint of oak and concentrated yellow fruit, ripe pear and vanilla flavors with a clean, long finish that lingers.
Serve about 10℃; food friendly wine that pairs well with pastas with seafood cream sauces, this wine is also remarkably good with some challenging seafood dishes including slightly spicy Chinese and Thai style fish dishes.
Oak aging.
Drinking nicely now and can be cellared for 3 ~4 years.
