
Seductively delicious, barrel-fermented red wine made of the ancient Nero d'Avola variety, this wine has a deep purple-red color with violet hue, nose of black cherries, vanilla and toasted oak and rich earthy flavors of dark fruit, black pepper and other spices; the wine has a silky texture and spicy long finish.

Allow 30+ minutes for breathing and serve at 18℃; this hearty wine is lovely with substantial meat dishes including grilled steaks and chops and rich meat stews including Chinese braised meat dishes.

12 months in French oak.

Drink nicely now, but can be cellared for over a decade.
