In great vintages for Chateau Haut Brion, the second wine, Bahans-Haut-Brion, is a wonderful way to taste first growth potential in a lighter version that's ready for earlier drinking; 2003 was a great vintage for Chateau Haut Brion and this vintage of Bahans-Haut-Brion has a beautiful deep red color, dark berries and exotic spice bouquet and earthy flavors of black fruit and leather; this is a medium bodied wine with a pleasantly long finish; owned by the American Dillon family since 1935, Chateau Haut Brion is the most ancient of the first growth wines and has been a technology innovator in Bordeaux making some of the world's greatest wines.


Allow 45 minutes breathing and serve at 18℃; the wine matches nicely with Steaks, Roasted Fowl and Shanghai meat dishes with sauces.


12 months in French oak.


Drink now and can be cellared for 8+ years.
