Carefully made, delicious Cabernet-Merlot blend that's quite impressive for a relatively poor vintage in South Australia; the wine has a dark purple-garnet red color and heady bouquet of ripe red and black fruit with nuances of spices and tobacco and round and smooth dark berry and plum flavors and a pleasant soft tannic finish; founded by Brian Croser, one of Australia's most respected wine-makers, and now publicly owned, Petaluma Winery has built a reputation as one of the finest Australian producers.

Serve at 17 - 18℃, this is a full-bodied wine that needs at least 30 minutes to fully open up; match with full-flavored meat roasts and BBQ meats.
