Fine expression of the Verdejo grape from the region of Rueda that makes some of Spain's best white wines; with a bright golden color, the wine offers aromas of earthy yellow fruit with herbal hints, good weight in the mouth and nice ripe fruit flavors with a pleasing acidic finish; if you haven't tried a Rueda Verdejo, now is the time; Vina Saltes is a brand of the Williams & Humbert group that makes some of the world's finest Sherries as well as other beverage and food products.
Serve chilled about 10℃; this flavorful white wine is great with many types of seafood including popular Chinese dishes like Shanghai Style Crispy Carp, Cantonese Steamed Garoupa with Soy Sauce and Scallions.
Several months in French oak.
Nicely now but will evolve over the next 3 - 5 years.
