This distinctive Carmenere wine is a deliciously welcome departure from the plethora of New World Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot wines; the wine features a deep red color, intense nose of red berries, chocolate, tobacco and minerals and powerful flavors of dark berries and spices; after one hour of breathing, the wine has a wonderful round tannic finish; established in 1883 by lawyer-politician Don Melchor Cocha y Toro, Concha y Toro is one of Chile's biggest producers with a reputation for high quality, good value wines.
Serve at 18℃; the wine can match with roasted lamb, BBQ meats as well as game.
