This is an excellent example of the new style of Pinot Grigio wines from Friuli; the wine has a very bright straw yellow color, ripe peach and flower nose with a hint of vanilla, generous flavors of sweet grapefruits and peaches with a good round feel in the mouth and a lasting finish; Pighin produces modern-style, fresh wines from one of Italy's up-and-coming regions, Friuli.
Serve at 8℃; this is a very flavorful, low-acid wine that matches well with Asian seafood and pork dishes.
6 - 8 months in stainless steel vats.
Drink now or within 18 - 24 months.
