Lovely traditional Rioja red wine experience at a reasonable price; this wine features an attractive ruby red color with brick red hue, pleasant red berry and oak scents and round and pleasing dark fruit, cherry and oak flavors and an intriguing, slightly smoky finish; the wine has good weight in the mouth; established in 1932 by Isaac Muga, Bodegas Muga is still family-owned and has built a reputation for producing very fine, traditional-style Rioja wines.

Allow 30+ minutes for breathing and serve at 18℃; match with hot meat tapas, grilled lamb and beef and tasty cheeses.

2+ years in oak & 1 year for bottle aging.

Lovely now and can be cellared for 10+ years.
