Excellent value red wine with unusually high contribution of Petit Verdot along with the more common Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc varieties. The wine features a dark ruby red color with purple hue, blackberry, plum and spices nose; rich, balanced black fruit and red berry flavors with a nice slightly spicy tannic finish. The Beaugency family offers a comprehensive range of quality wines from Bordeaux and other major French wine appellations.
Allow 15 minutes for breathing and serve at 16 - 18℃; matches well with grilled and roasted meat and full flavored cheeses; also pairs with Sichuan style deep-fried spicy duck.
Light oak aging.
