Typical Mosel Riesling from a top producer. The fruity and fresh 2012 wine presents a transparent water-white color; aromas of buxus sprout, followed by notes of pomelo, green and yellow oranges and minerals; this medium-full bodied wine is slightly sweet and offers a concentrated palate of citrus with a respectably long finish. Loosen is the most famous winery in Mosel that has been family-owned for over 200 years and is considered one of the best Riesling winemakers in the region.
Serve at 10 - 12℃; matches well with seafood including Jiang Zhe style fried shrimp balls with pineapple or deep-fried mandarin fish in sweet and sour tomato sauce.
No oak aging.
Drink now or within 3 years.
