A fine mid-range IGT wine from Emilia-Romagna. This wine is bright ruby-red with fresh aromas of berries, especially raspberries; a pleasantly round palate of ripe red fruit and plums and a slightly spicy finish. Umberto Cesari has built an excellent reputation for organically produced wines available at reasonable prices.

Allow 15+ minutes for breathing and serve at 16℃; pairs well with meat pastas and pizzas; try with Chinese home style chicken in oil and scallion.

6 months in large-format Italian oak, plus 3 months in bottles.

Enjoy now or through the next 3 - 4 years.
