An outstanding wine made from an Austrian featured variety. The 2012 wine has a mostly white with subtle green-yellow color and notes of lemon, peach, orange and minerals on the nose; the body is slightly full, round and moderately acidic with a powerful palate of minerals and a fairly lingering finish of gooseberry. Established in 1171, Domäene Gobelsburg is one of the most awarded Austrian winemakers with wines that faithfully illustrate the terroir with a simple and solemn style.
Serve at 10 - 12℃; matches well with raw oysters or scalded shellfish; try with Taiwanese style deep-fried oysters with mountain basil.
No oak aging.

Lovely now or drink within the next 2 years.
