A wonderfully expressive New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. This wine is light gold with greenish hints, an intense nose of gooseberry and citrus with herbal notes and concentrated fruit flavors that ebb to a pleasingly long and clean mineral finish. Villa Maria has been making wines for over half a century and has the distinction of being New Zealand's most awarded winery; the company now exports to more than 50 countries.
Serve at 8℃; nice aperitif or with many types of seafood or white meats; this wine is a real treat when paired with Shanghai style roasted fish head with scallions.
4 months on the lees in stainless steel vats.
Enjoy now or cellar for up to 2 years.
