Fragrant and approachable young Pinot Gris. The wine has a bright and transparent straw-yellow color with aromas of ripe citrus, apricot, mineral and tropical fruit; the palate is slightly sweet, full and round with modest acidity and lively flavors with a moderately long finish of subtle pomelo. Domaines Schlumberger is the biggest family-operated winery in Alsace with a 200+ year history of making excellent wines.
Serve at 10 - 12℃; matches well with steamed or sweet-sour flavored river fish; also nice with Thai style steamed fish with lemongrass.
No oak aging.
