Michele Chiarlo Nivole Moscato d'Asti (DOCG), 2008 (375ml)

The wine features a pale yellow color with small palate tickling bubbles, abundant scents of peach, apricot and hints of caramel; fresh flavors of melon, honey and sweet berries; a representative slightly sparkling Muscat wine from Piedmont, the wine has very good balance with a clean slightly acidic finish. Since 1956 when Michele Chiarlo bought his first hillside vineyard in Piedmont, he has built a reputation as a top maker of high quality, all natural wines that are reasonably priced.

Serve at 7 - 8℃; the wine is lovely with strawberries, fresh tropical fruit salads or a wide variety of sweet cakes and pastries including Chinese style sweet moon cakes.
