One of several excellent Felton Road Pinot Noirs. The 2010 wine has a deep ruby red color, aromas of violet, rose and exotic spices box elements; rich palate of vibrant red fruit with a lasting clean finish. Felton Road is one of the best producers in the highly acclaimed Central Otago region in the far south of South Island, New Zealand.
Allow 30 minutes for breathing and serve at 15 - 16℃; this flavorful Pinot Noir matches well with a host of meats and substantial seafood dishes; try with Jiang Zhe style spicy deep-fried eel.
11 months in French oak.
Drink now or over the next 6 - 8 years.
