Like all Domaine de Montille reds, this wine exhibits great Pinot Noir typicity. The 2007 wine has a bright medium red color, intense nose of berries and white flowers; and lovely ripe cherry and other red fruit flavors with a pleasantly mouth-puckering austere finish. Established in the 18th Century, Domaine de Montille is a top Côte de Beaune domaine that's famous for some of the purest expressions of Pinot Noir to be found in Burgundy today.

Allow 30+ minutes for breathing and serve at 15 - 16℃; nice with classic meat stews and braised meat like beef Bourguignon; it's also fresh enough to pair well with elegant fish dishes; try with Chinese style minced pork with steamed egg.

25% in new oak for 1 year.

Drink nicely now but will gain complexity over the next 5 – 7 years.
