Cavalierino Vin Santo di Montepulciano (DOC), 2007 (375ml)

The holy wine "Vin Santo" of Tuscany is one of the world's greatest sweet wines and the 2007 wine from Cavalierino beautifully represents this. The wine has a pale yellow amber color, stylish nose of spices, plums and dried apricots; abundant cherry and dried fruit flavors with hints of chestnuts and a lingering clean finish. Majestically located on the hills of Poggiano midway between historic villages of Montepulciano and Pienza in southern Tuscany, Cavalierino has prime elevated vineyards and makes a range of premium wines and gourmet foods.

Serve at 5 - 6℃; as its name suggests, heavenly as an after-dinner drink by itself or simply enjoyed with dry biscuits; try with Chinese style sweet clay oven biscuits.

4 years in a combination of small cherry oak and chestnut barrels and 1 year bottle aging.

Drink now or over the next 10 - 15 years.
