Made using the "ripasso" process, an ancient vinification system used in Veneto and technically known as refermentation, this is a deliciously approachable and affordable red wine with a light ruby red color, fruity-floral bouquet and concentrated red fruit flavours with a touch of acidity; the balance between fruit and tannins is quite good; owned by the Boscaini family who purchased their first vineyard at the end of the 18th century, Masi is one of Veneto's most important wines producers with a range of Valpolicella, Amaroni, Ricioto and Soave wines.
Serve at 16 - 18℃; the wine is well enjoyed with meat and cheese pastas as well as grilled meats.
Light oak aging.
Drink now or within 2 years.
