This is a classically styled, dry sparking wine from Australia with plenty of New World fruit. At $800 it’s a very good value.

The wine has a straw yellow color and a bouquet replete with ripe peach and floral scents. This is a concentrated wine with ripe fruit and honey flavors. The bubbles are very lively and persistent. The wine's finish is quite long for a reasonably priced wine. Enjoy this wine as an aperitif or with Grilled Australian Lobster Tails, BBQ Tiger Prawns and Raw Tasmanian Rock Oysters. This wine also matches nicely with Thai Style Curried Prawns, Deep Fried Sea Bass with Curry Sauce and Grilled Beef Salad. Serve this wine at 8 ℃.

Established by the world's biggest Champagne house Moet & Chandon in 1985, Chandon Australia produced 6,000 cases of sparkling wine in 1986. Since then production and quality have made impressive gains. Located in the Yarra Valley where sparkling wines have been produced since the 1880s, the company has predominantly Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vineyards with a little Pinot Meunier under vine. Chandon Australia produces some of the New World's best value Sparkling wines.
