This bright light gold colored wine isn't overpowering like some Chardonnays. Instead the wine entices you with finesse and balance. The bouquet features a delicate ripe pear and apple scent. This well structured wine has citrus and peach flavors with hints of minerals and a nice fresh finish. 1997 was a very good vintage for white Burgundy wines and this wine will develop greater complexity in the coming years. Enjoy this wine with Sauteed Trout with White Wine Butter Sauce, Grilled Salmon with Hollandaise Sauce and Moose of Pike with Champagne Sauce. This wine also matches nicely with elegant Chinese fish dishes. Serve this wine about 10℃.

In addition to the famous Le Montrachet there are three other Grand Crus (Chevalier-Montrachet, Batard-Montrachet and Bienvenues － Batard - Montrachet) that are nearly as good and 11 Premier Crus. The vineyards below the Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards produce Puligny-Montrachet AC wines. Remoissenet is one of the better producers of Puligny-Montrachet AC wines.
