From this famous Bordeaux company, now also involved in Beaujolais, comes a very good Beaujolais Nouveau at an attractive price. 2003 was one of the best vintages for Beaujolais Nouveau in the past 25 years and this wine is a good example of this excellent vintage. The wine has a surprisingly deep color for a Beaujolais Nouveau and an attractive ripe fruit bouquet. There’s plenty of friendly cherry and other fruit flavors and a fresh acidity. Drink this wine young (within 5 months) and match with Chinese salmon, cod and tuna dishes as well as light meat dishes. Serve at 10-12℃.
