A fun and refreshing summer wine, the Lindemans Traminer Riesling, 1996 is a slightly sweet and sour wine with abundant apple, pair and honey flavors. This is a nice wine for a hot summer evening and a very good match with spicy foods. The major varieties used in this wine are the Gewurztraminer and Riesling grapes. Reflecting their more laid back and easy going nature, the people down under don't like the long German word "Gewurztraminer" so they simply call this grape "Traminer". Like most Gewurztraminer and Riesling wines, this is a friendly wine that even beginners can appreciate. Served this wine well chilled, about 8℃with Thai, Indian and other zesty cooking.
