Low-priced Chilean red wine with a high-quality taste, this wine features a dark ruby red color, pleasing nose of cassis, tobacco and exotic spices and concentrated flavors of black berries, chocolate and a touch of oak; this is a medium-bodied wine with well-developed tannins and a reasonably long finish; match with herb-roasted meats, BBQ and exotic meat-seafood dishes like couscous; founded in the mid-1990s, Terra Andina is now owned by the large Santa Rita & Carmen Vineyards group and makes a range of reasonably priced wines that have received recognition from the international wine press.
