Many Port connoisseurs feel that the 1980 vintage is underrated; a testament to this opinion is Graham's wonderfully mature 1980 Vintage Port that is a very good value for a vintage Port; this wine has a brownish red color and remarkably fresh floral, cherry and plum nose and rich fig, prunes and stewed fruits flavors and a smooth spicy tannic finish; this is an elegant Vintage Port that is at its peak now; enjoy as a digestif or enjoy with mildly sweet desserts; in 1970, the firm of W & J Graham was acquired by the famous port family Symington who have continued the traditions that have made the company one of the finest producers of Port wines in the world.
