La Grande Dame is always one of the top vintage Champagnes; the elegant 1995 La Grande Dame features an attractive pale golden-yellow color, fresh peach and floral nose and mellow flavors of ripe yellow fruits and honey; the bubbles are very fine and lively; match this grand lady with elegant fish, lobster and roasted veal or chicken; founded in 1772, the company was inherited by the legendary Nicole-Barbe Cliquot (Mme Cliquot) who helped build it into one of the most successful houses in Champagne; now owned by the giant luxury group LVMH, the company produces a range of top non vintage and vintage Champagnes.
