This refined white wine comes from the estate of the Marquis de Laguiche, the largest owner of Le Montrachet; the wine has a rich golden yellow-green color, elegant nose of yellow fruit and minerals and ripe fruit, vanilla and subtle, not overwhelming, oak flavors; the tart finish is long and complex; established in 1756, Joseph Drouhin is one of the most respected and important wine makers in Burgundy with cellars dating back to the 13th and 14th centuries; the Japanese company Snow Brand Products now owns the company though Drouhin family members are still involved.
