
The 1998 Sancerre Blanc Chateau du Nozay is a complex and well-balanced dry white wine made of grapes sourced from some of the region's most prestigious vineyards, including Le Chene Marchand and Les Griottes; the wine has a light golden yellow color and floral and citrus fruit nose and pleasing tropical fruit flavors and a bracingly dry and mineral finish; match with light chicken or pork dishes or elegant shellfish like lobster or baked oysters; founded in 1985, Pascal Jolivet is one of the newest producers in the Loire making highly acclaimed Sancerre and Pouilly-Fume wines.
