The Minervois AC produces some of the best red wines of Languedoc-Roussilon; this wine has a medium deep purple-red color, fragrant nose of dark berries and plum and exuberant flavors of black cherries, cassis and plenty of spices; this is a medium to full bodied wine with soft tannins and an impressively long finish; match with grilled meats with spicy sauces as well as spicy Chinese and Asian meat dishes; Chateau Coupe-Roses produces a range of highly acclaimed, reasonably priced wines from choice vineyards around the village of Minervois.
