Delicious Merlot from Australia; this is a generously flavored smooth wine with a quite reasonable price tag; the wine has a dark ruby red color, plum and spices nose, and delicious flavors of ripe berries and chocolate; the round and smooth texture of is quite impressive as is the generous, soft tannic finish; match with roasted duck or roasted chicken; the Taylor family makes some of South Australia's best wines including the prize winning St. Andrews premium range.
