Louis Latour's 2000 Nuits Saint Georges is an elegant Premier Cru Burgundy red wine available in Asia at a relatively reasonable price; this wine has a ruby red color, red berries and cherry nose and typical Pinot Noir fruitiness with a touch of spice and light oak finish; the wine has good weight in the mouth and a pleasant acidity; match with classic French chicken or veal stews, especially in Burgundy red wine sauce; Louis Latour is most famous for their wide range of top Burgundy white wines but they also make excellent red Burgundies and wines outside of Burgundy.
