Traditional, rich and elegant, this wine features a cherry red color, ripe red fruit, jam and toasted oak nose and supple, almost sweet, flavors of black berries, blue berries, smoked meats and refined tannins; this is a complex wine with lovely velvety texture and a terrific finish with hints of tobacco; 26 months in French oak and eight years of bottle aging has imparted excellent complexity and character; match with grilled lamb, game and flavorful cheeses; established in the late 1960s, Bodega Marquis de Caceres makes some of the best traditional Rioja wines available in Asia.
