This refreshing white wine features a pale yellow color, pleasant bouquet of tart unripe fruit and crisp clean flavors of yellow grapes and citrus; without oak aging, the purity of the Chardonnay fruit is quite nice and while not especially round or textured this is a good thirst quenching summer wine that can be enjoyed as an aperitif or with light appetizers; raised in Germany Wolf Blass bought his first vineyard in Australia in 1996; the company is now one of the giants of Australian wine-making with a wide range of quality wines.
