Big and heady wine (15%) with all the power and sophistication one expects from a very good Amarone, this wine has a deep ruby red color, lively red and dark berry scents and smooth and concentrated black cherry and other dark fruit flavors with a hint of spice and a long sophisticated finish.
Decant and allow at least 30 minutes breathing and serve at 18˚C; match with all kinds of pungent chesses, roasted and stewed game, as well as Cantonese style smoked duck and goose.
3 years in Slavonian oak.
Drinking very nicely now but will improve with a few more years in the cellar and can be kept for another 15+ years.
