Excellent, full-bodied and generous Amarone wine with dark ruby red color, intense dark fruit and spices nose and powerful ripe black berry and dried fruit flavors and a long and complex finish with hints of leather.
Decant and allow 45 minutes to 1 hour for breathing and serve at 18˚C; perfect with pungent, well aged cheeses as well as robust meat dishes including stewed or grilled game and also very nice with Yunan style dried beef and lamb.
At least 3 years in Slavonian oak.
Nice now but will gradually gain added sophistication and complexity over the next 10 years and can be cellared for over 20 years.
