An exception among Bourgogne AOC wines as it benefits from some aging, the 2001 wine has a brick red color, sophisticated nose of strawberries with hints of tobacco and lots of red fruit flavors in a pleasingly long finish; founded in 1868, Maison Leroy has been a négociant in Burgundy and is owned by Lalou Bize-Leroy, who also owns Domaine Leroy and Domaine D'Auvenay.

Allow 15 minutes for breathing and serve at 15°C; match with a variety of cheeses and red meats.

In stainless steel vats and oak barrels.

Enjoy now or within 3 years.
