Made using the "Ripasso" process, an ancient vinification system used in Veneto and technically known as refermentation. This wine is charming and approachable with its light ruby-red color, fruity and floral bouquet, and concentrated red fruit flavors with a touch of acidity; the balance between fruit and tannins is well expressed. Owned by the Boscaini family, who purchased their first vineyard at the end of the 18th century, Masi is one of Veneto's most important wine producers, featuring a range of Valpolicella, Amarone, Recioto and Soave wines.
Serve at 16 - 18℃; pairs well with pasta with meat or cheese sauces, and gracefully accompanies grilled meats; makes a lively partner for Chinese style stir-fried pork tripe with lightly pickled cabbage.
Light oak aging.
Drink now or within 2 years.
