This wine is a fine example of a balanced Valpolicella that has wonderful food pairing versatility. The wine is bright ruby with expressive aromas of red cherry, a medium-body, and flavors of red cherry and raspberry that lead to a pleasant touch of bitterness in a clean finish. Since the 16th century, the Allegrini Family have been one of the most important and consistently good producers in Veneto with a wide range of high quality wines.
Allow 15 minutes for breathing and serve at 15 - 16℃; enjoy with Italian appetizers, soups and pasta, roasted or grilled white meats or fish dishes; also great with many Chinese pork dishes including Shanghai style braised pork in soy sauce.
Fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks.
Best consumed over the next 2 - 3 years.
