This fine German Riesling is fresh, complex, elegant and balanced. The wine has a water-white color, charming aromas of apple, pomelo, citrus flower, flinty and raw limestone; a tad of sweetness and round structure with a moderately full body and flavors of honey balanced by good acidity, and a long finish of Fuji apple and sweet orange. Established in 1875, Robert Weil is one of the best and most internationally recognized Riesling winemakers in the world.
Serve at 10 - 12℃; matches well with challenging dishes including sweet and sour pork or Thai seafood salad; also quite good with Sichuan style sour and spicy soup.
No oak aging.
Drink now or within 3 years.
