Great example for a well-balanced Riesling with acidity, sweetness and lots of aroma. The Gelblack shows an intensive yellow color with green hints, a complex nose with mineral notes as well as aroma of peaches, apples and flowers; intensive mouth-feel with straight acidity leaving a fresh impression and long aftertaste. Schloss Johannisberg is one of the references for Riesling in Germany with vineyards planted in front of the castle in the Rheingau region that has 1,200 years of history.
Serve at 10℃; ideal wine for fresh seafood and white meat dishes; try with Jiang Zhe style winter cured pork in soy sauce.
No oak.
