Made in and with fruit sourced from a new region in Chile, the San Antonio Valley, this is an unusual style of Riesling with a strong lees flavor. This dry, acidic wine has a light to medium green-gold color with aromas of green apple, white flowers, honey and yeasty lees and green apple flavors with a clean lengthy finish. Viña Chocalán is a modern winery located in the Maipo Valley, however the Malvilla series of varietal wines is produced by the Toro Harnecker family in the San Antonio Valley and sold under the Chocalán name.
Serve at 8 - 10℃; matches with stir-fried prawns or deep-fried whole fish with dried or pickled chili, steamed or fried crab with scallion, ginger and garlic, and also very good with raw or cooked oysters.
