Ch. D'Issan has one of the prettiest chateaus in all of Bordeaux. However, the wine has not performed very well since the 1980s. Ch. D'Issan is usually too light and not up to the standard of it's status as a 3rd growth. This is a delicate wine best matched with simply prepared meat and cheese dishes.
