One of the finest Sauvignon Blanc wines from Forrest Estate, this wine was made with grapes from eight top Marlborough vineyards and features a bright pale yellow color with greenish hints, an intense nose of ripe berries and citrus fruit and typically exuberant New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc flavors of passion fruit and capsicum with a hint of grass, and a long and refreshingly tart finish; match this wine with a wide variety of seafood including raw or cooked oysters, seafood salads and elegant fish dishes including Shanghai Style Carp in Scallion Brown Sauce; John Forrest , former molecular doctor, and his wife Brigid who is also a doctor have used their scientific prowess and passion for wine to create some of New Zealand's finest crafted wines; since the first vintage in 1990 this winery has progressively made better and better wines that have won international acclaim.
