Stylish Bordeaux from the good 2004 vintage; this medium body, earthy wine features a deep ruby-brick red color, pleasant nose of black fruit and spice with a hint of mint and subtle, multi-layered black fruit and tobacco fl avors and a dry tannic fi nish; the balance between the fruit and tannins is very good.
Allow at least 30 minutes for breathing & serve at 18℃; the overall balance of this wine make it a good pairing with many types of meats and cheeses including Prime Rib, Lamb Chops and soft French cheese as well as Taiwan's popular BBQ meats.
12 months in 20% new oak.
Many 2004 Medoc wines like this one are drinking nicely now and will be at their best for another 5~7 years.
