Remarkable wine made from vines 80 to 110 years old, it features a dark ruby red-purple color, impressive nose of plums, pepper with hints of fresh herbs, and very concentrated and elegant black fruit, leather, and black pepper flavors with a very long, complex finish.
Allow at least 1 hour for breathing, best decant and serve at 18℃; super wine with many kinds of hearty meat dishes, especially game; also nice with Chinese Style Smoked Duck.
70% in cement tanks, 30% in new oak barrels for 18~24 months.
