Sourced from one of Chile's finest vineyards at the foot of the Andes, this excellent wine features a dark purple-crimson red color, a sophisticated and complex nose of cassis and red fruit and lots of dark fruit and spices flavors and youthful tannins; this is a concentrated wine with a gratifyingly long finish and rich texture from 18 months in French oak; established in 1883 by lawyerpolitician Don Melchor Cocha y Toro, Concha y Toro is one of Chile's biggest producers with a reputation for high quality, good value wines.
Serve at 18℃, needs 45 - 60 minutes of breathing time; the wine matches well with Prime Rib, Prime Steaks and rack of lamb.
18 months in oak.
